The information on www.flamingolifestyles.com — including the journal, services pages, project case studies, signature-collection listings, FAQs and estimate-form calculations — is provided for general guidance only. We make every reasonable effort to keep it accurate and current, but we do not warrant that the site is free of errors, omissions or interruptions. Where the published information differs from a written quote, work order or invoice we have signed with you, the signed document prevails.
02 Product imagery and natural variation
Photographs of pieces from the signature collection are taken under controlled studio lighting on neutral backdrops. The colour you see on your screen depends on:
- Your monitor's calibration, brightness and colour profile.
- Ambient lighting in your room when you view the site.
- Your operating system's colour-management settings.
- The image-compression performed by your browser or network.
Hand-finished pieces have natural variation in grain, fabric weave, leather patina, brass tone and stone veining — these are inherent to artisan furniture and are not defects. Pieces in the same collection may differ slightly from each other for the same reason. Where colour fidelity is critical to a buying decision, we encourage you to visit the studio in Cheemasandra (by appointment) to see actual material samples, or request a sample mailed to you.
03 Estimates and quotes
Estimates generated from the Get an Estimate form, the calculator on product pages, or in any informal conversation are indicative only. They reflect typical costs for projects of similar scope and material at the time of generation. The binding price is the figure on a written quote or invoice we sign with you.
Estimates expire as stated on the document; we may revise them as material costs, scope, site conditions or timelines change. The site does not constitute a binding offer for any project; an offer is only made through a written quote.
04 Lead times
Manufacturing and construction lead times shown on the site are typical and assume normal supply-chain conditions. They can shift due to:
- Material availability — solid wood, leather, fabric, marble and brass have global supply considerations.
- Statutory approvals — BBMP, BDA, KSPCB, fire-safety, OC and other clearances.
- Weather — heavy monsoon affects civil work timelines in Karnataka.
- Festivals and public holidays.
- Customer-side delays — late approval of design sign-offs, late material selection, access issues at site.
We share a firm timeline once a work order is signed and reset it formally if any of the above causes a material shift.
05 Professional advice
The design and construction guidance we share through the site, blog or social channels is the studio's view based on our experience. It is informational. It is not a substitute for formal architectural certification, structural engineering, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) engineering, fire-safety design, accessibility compliance, environmental assessment or any other regulated practice.
For projects requiring statutory approvals, we engage qualified consultants under the project work order. The responsibility for obtaining and complying with statutory permissions remains with the property owner unless we have explicitly contracted otherwise in writing. Recommendations on specific products, materials or finishes assume normal use; consult the relevant manufacturer or specialist for use cases involving heat, water, food contact or heavy load.
06 Construction safety
Construction work is regulated and inherently risky. Where Flamingo Lifestyles is the contractor of record:
- We follow safe-work practices, employ insured tradespeople, maintain on-site supervision, and provide standard PPE.
- We comply with applicable BOCW, KSPCB and BBMP requirements for the specific scope.
- Site visits by clients or visitors require prior coordination with the project manager.
Where Flamingo Lifestyles is not the contractor — for example, a design-only engagement where another contractor builds — the recommendations on the site or in our deliverables are general. Your own contractor or engineer is responsible for safety on site, for compliance with regulations, and for the quality of construction.
07 Third-party links and embeds
The site links to third-party websites and embeds third-party content — including Google Maps, social media platforms, supplier and partner websites, and content management providers. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, security, or privacy practices of those sites. Following a third-party link or interacting with an embed is at your own discretion.
08 User-generated content
The site may show testimonials, project case studies, press features and photographs contributed by clients, partners or members of the public. We share these with permission, but the views expressed are those of the contributors and do not necessarily reflect ours. Outcomes vary from project to project; one client's experience is not a guarantee of another's.

10 Geographic scope
We deliver the signature collection across India. International shipping is handled on a case-by-case basis, and additional duties or taxes at destination are the buyer's responsibility. Service projects (interiors, furnishing, construction) are undertaken pan-India with our team based in Bengaluru. We do not currently take projects outside India for in-person execution; we may take design-only engagements for international properties on request.
11 Trademarks
"Flamingo Lifestyles" and the flamingo mark are trademarks of Flamingo Lifestyles. Collection names — including Kensington, Alcazar, Brennen, Westminster, Richard, President, Metamorph, Stargate, Oligarch and Matlin — are also our trademarks (or used under licence).
Other trademarks shown on the site (e.g. supplier logos, hardware brands such as Hettich and Hafele, fabric mills, polish brands such as Renner) belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification of materials we use. Their appearance does not imply endorsement.
12 Force majeure
Delays or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control — natural disasters, fires, floods, earthquakes, epidemics, pandemics, government action or shutdowns, strikes, riots, war, terrorism, internet or telecommunication outages, supplier or carrier failures, and any equivalent event — are not breaches of any contract.
